Quality and environment
Wieland-Werke AG was certified according to DIN ISO 9002 in 1987 and was the first European manufacturer of semi-finished products to introduce a certified quality management system.
Continuous development has always been our aim. Today we are certified according to ISO 9001 or ISO/TS 16949 depending on the certification status of the Division concerned. The excellent quality of our semi-finished products ensures high productivity during processing at our customers. At the same time it motivates our workforce to strive for continuous improvements.
Environmental regulations and demands are also stringent. Most of our materials can be recycled.
All the materials we use have to pass numerous stringent tests. Wieland's plants in Ulm, Vöhringen, Villingen and Langenberg are certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001. The largest production site, the Vöhringen plant, is additionally validated according to the EU regulation EMAS.
