2. Specific coil weight
The specific coil weight is an auxiliary variable for the calculation of coil parameters. It indicates how much a 1 mm wide strip of the respective coil would weigh. The specific coil weight is independent of the strip thickness and simplifies further calculations of, for example, coil weight or outside diameter.
