Improved battery design
Special bimetals are used as so called busbars between the anode and cathode. Laser deposit welding is a method developed specially for combining the properties of different metals into a composite with excellent contact bond strength.

The Wieland copper rotor design for induction motors can withstand rotary speeds considerably higher than the alternative solutions. Thanks to the high conductivity of copper, the rotor attains an efficiency higher than aluminium.

Better battery management
Precision shunt resistors are highly important for the precise, reliable measurement of actual battery levels. Shunt resistors are based on electron beam welded copper-manganese strip.
