Wieland Rolled Products North America’s integrated brass mill in East Alton, Illinois is its main operating facility, which casts and rolls copper and copper alloy strip products that are sold directly to end customers, sold to its affiliate, Wieland Metal Services, or shipped to Rolled Products downstream operations for further value-added processing. Originally opened in 1916 by Western Cartridge, the East Alton facility has undergone numerous expansions and is also home to North America’s largest stamper, Wieland Fabricated Products.

Wieland Chase, Montpelier, Ohio was founded in 1965 for the sole purpose of producing C360 brass rod. Today, Wieland Chase operates two fully integrated mills on one site. The facility has 2 foundries, 2 extrusion presses and fully integrated finishing lines that operate at a highly efficient and productive rate that offers manufacturing redundancy within a small footprint. The business continues to evolve as we now produce more than 10 brass rod alloys and we have also expanded into engineered products and ingots to expand our product offering that allows us to support additional markets and customers. Wieland Chase is a green company by nature as we use more than 90% recycled materials to produce our products and we are very diligent about minimizing the environmental impact we have on the surrounding community.
