cuprotherm copper tubes combine the thermal conductivity of copper with system-ready design for underfloor and surface heating installations. Three variants cover every application: cuprotherm CTX-R for flexible sanitary and heating use, cuprotherm.plus for coated underfloor heating, and cuprotherm.blank for mastic asphalt screeds. All variants are based on seamlessly drawn Cu-DHP copper tube to EN 1057.

Surface heating tubes are embedded in screed or wall construction for decades – with no option for replacement. The material must remain dimensionally stable under constant thermal cycling, stay fully diffusion-tight to prevent oxygen ingress, and transfer heat efficiently to the floor surface above.

Copper meets all three requirements without compromise: it is 100% diffusion-tight, thermally superior to polymer alternatives, and retains its mechanical properties across the full operating temperature range up to 95°C. cuprotherm tubes conform to EN 1057 and carry the quality mark.

cuprotherm is Europe’s most frequently installed copper underfloor heating system. The long service life of cuprotherm copper tubes supports durable surface heating systems. Due to the high thermal conductivity of copper, efficient use in this application is also economically beneficial in the long term.

The orange coating provides mechanical and chemical protection from the outside and allows the cuprotherm tube to expand unhindered in length when temperature changes occur.
