    High-performance Alloy Strips and Foils

Wieland high-performance alloy strips combine high strength with reliable electrical conductivity, good formability and excellent temperature resistance. Available in different dimensions, tempers and surface finishes, they are designed for demanding components in the automotive, electrical and electronics industries.

    Brass Strips and Foils

Wieland Brass Strips and Foils combines workable strength with the lowest metal cost in the copper-alloy family, since zinc is significantly cheaper than copper. Standard brasses like M30 and M36 are the economical choice for connectors and components without extreme thermal or corrosion demands, while special brasses add strength and thermal stability through additional alloying elements.

    Bronze Strips and Foils

Wieland bronze strips combine good strength, reliable formability and resistance to thermal relaxation for demanding stamped and formed components. Available in different phosphor bronze alloys, dimensions and tempers, they are particularly suited for spring contacts, press-fit connectors and signal-transmission components in the automotive, electrical and electronics industries.

    Copper-Nickel Strips and Foils

This specialty of copper-nickel tin alloys is the very high strength in combination with a very good relaxation resistance, also combined with good formability. Typical alloys are Wieland-L49 (CuNi9Sn2, C72500) and Wieland-L96 (CuNi9Sn6, similar to C72700). Wieland-L96 is an environmental friendly alterative to Copper Berryllium and can be supplied in the milled hardened condition or quenchend and rolled allowing complex forming and hardening after stamping. L96 is as well used as an alternative to Copper Titanium alloys.
