Wieland to showcase innovative and efficient eMobility solutions at Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo
At the Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo in Novi, Michigan, USA from 10th to 12th September 2019, Wieland, the world leader and specialist for copper and copper alloys, will be showcasing its components for eMobility applications at booth 1354.
Products on display include precision shunt resistors for battery applications. Made of electron beam welded copper-manganese strip, they enable high-precision measurements (e.g. the charging status of the battery). Further products shown at the booth are battery components for cell connecting which can withstand very high vibrations and offer highly reliable connections in rugged eMobility applications. Bar-shaped copper rotors for induction motors benefit from increased mechanical strength and withstand rotary speeds considerably higher than alternative solutions. Hairpin stators with their high copper filling factor, customized high voltage power connections for AC and DC applications and different designs of stator connector rings with plastic injection molding to comprehensively increase efficiency in the drive train complete the portfolio.
